Nucleus Commercial Finance (Nucleus), the UK fintech expert, has further highlighted its growth ambitions, strengthening its business development team with the appointment of a new Business Development Manager for the North of England
Alex English will be heading up the relationship management with growth among brokers and introducer networks in the North of England, with a particular focus on Manchester, Leeds, and Liverpool.
Following successful roles at NatWest and RBS Invoice Finance, where he was responsible for the origination of new business and delivering on working capital support for customers in the SME sector, Alex has expertise in overseeing and delivering significant growth among both SME clients and introducer networks and valuable experience in managing a broad portfolio of businesses in the SME sector.
Earlier in his career, Alex was responsible for the design, build and implementation of an award-winning range of key policy and product enhancements to create a working capital product bespoke to the SME market in the North of England, while working at NatWest.
In his new position at Nucleus, he will be responsible for spearheading growth of Nucleus’ proposition and awareness across the North of England. To support this ongoing activity and reach the growth objectives for next year, Alex will also be mining his own extensive network of SME contacts to support overall sales growth.
Alex English joined Nucleus Commercial Finance at the start of November 2022 and is based in the London office.
